Designed for compliance with building standards, providing good insulation, whilst also offering fire resistance and security. These robust doorsets enable Fire and Rescue Service access through our high-end emergency access systems.

Extensively tested in single and double doorset configurations, the doorsets are produced in sustainable engineered timber with an environmentally friendly three-coat durable finishing process.
Tailored to exact sizing through our digital survey app, these doorsets are precision-manufactured for the complete ready-to-install solution.

Buildings vary in construction, design and substrate.

Our comprehensive and substantial library of test evidence underlies our capability to provide tailored doorsets compliant with the various buildings’ regulations and legislation.

Our survey module powered by the in-built doorset life-cycle App G-Smart, is used by our teams of surveyors, as well as third party contractors and developers. It determines the doorset requirements within Gerda Security test evidence remit and certification.

At point of survey, each doorset is allotted its unique code which follows throughout its lifetime.

Installation, maintenance and repairs are all addressed through G-Smart, providing the ‘golden thread’ of the doorset’s lifetime.

Service rooms often secure important equipment fundamental to the functioning of the building.

This may be a boiler room or an electrical intake room. Where this is the case, it is likely that in the event of an emergency, the Fire and Rescue Service (FRS) need to gain access.

The H System is the widely recognised Fire and Rescue Service locking system. Delivering high performance & proven longevity, this security kitemarked, SBD locking system, is a recognised focal point for firefighters.

Through their GSP One Key® system, they access all H System locks, whilst each Building Provider will have their own suited locking system with their own keys.

Fitting perfectly into its building opening, the doorset becomes an extension of the building envelope.

Which is why it’s important that the doorset design incorporates the necessary performance criteria for not only fire resistance and smoke control, but also thermal transmittance.

Our UKCA marked doorsets comply with national building regulation requirements, whilst also meeting the stipulations of the Construction Products Regulation and its designated standard for external fire doorsets.

Our external fire rated service room doorsets are also critical safety products under the Building Safety Act, as they comply with the designated standard and have our manufacturer’s Declaration of Performance.
