A working space suitable for the needs of minimising Covid-19 spread, both during and post the pandemic was created in this refurbishment design.

Through the introduction of FD60S doorsets with automated and secure entry, the workplace enables free flow of movement whilst maintaining departmental accessibility.

Throughout the office areas, the doorsets offer a smart finish with ergonomic furniture and safety features.

A combination of FD30S and FD60S doorsets in the FDS Complete range using different finishes, was used to denote different departments within the offices.

The High Security Premises Information Box™ (HSS PIB® C) Systems have been used extensively in the built environment, not only are they a statutory requirement for High Rise Residential Buildings but are used for other buildings, including those for transport and infrastructure.

The legislation highlights that consideration should also be given to other buildings with large, complex or uncommon layouts where the provision of a secure information box may be beneficial.

A brand new recording studio was needed for recording artists, producers, sound engineers and podcasters.

Working with the architect, constractor and the Qube Team, Enfield Speciality Doors focused on the design requiring exceptional sound-proofing.

This was to the extent that industry renowned acousticians worked with Enfield on the design to arrive at optimum solutions for the project.

The project comprised 55 doors, a mixture of glazed and solid, including a combination of Quiet Mark accredited acoustic doors.

With both fire resistance and bespoke acoustic doors having a back-to-back system with a 35dB door to the outside and a 42 dB on the inside to minimise sound leakage between rooms, the required performance criteria was more than met.
