Significant investment in advanced manufacturing has enabled doorsets to be produced in volume, to tailored sizes and defined tolerances, supported by test evidence across multiple aspects of performance.

Manufactured as complete, finished, pre-hung doorsets, they are produced to a high specification, with performance and installation requirements considered throughout the process.

Attention to detail is supported by precise CNC processes, efficient frame production technology, automated spray processes and quality control throughout manufacturing.

Security is an important consideration when choosing a flat entrance doorset, helping residents feel secure in their homes. That’s why we invest in security solutions within our doorset designs.

Our doorsets offer Secured by Design as standard. Secured by Design is the official police security initiative, focused on designing out crime and improving the security of buildings. Gerda Security Products has been a founder member for over twenty years.

The Safer Homes Range offers a choice of locking options to suit different opening needs, including assisted opening.

Our 54mm-thick doorsets are designed with security in mind and can help address the risk of repeat victimisation. Their insulation and acoustic performance can also contribute to the living environment. Supporting documentation for our stated product performance claims is maintained and made available with the applicable requirements of the Code for Construction Product Information (CCPI).

We recognise the importance of providing accurate, current and verifiable information to substantiate our product performance claims. As the manufacturer, we are responsible for explaining our products’ intended applications, design characteristics, performance claims and limitations, and ensuring supporting evidence is accurately represented in its proper technical context.

Some technical documentation, including test reports and assessments, may contain commercially sensitive information and proprietary intellectual property. We protect this information from unnecessary disclosure while meeting our CCPI obligations.

Requests for supporting technical information are handled in accordance with applicable CCPI requirements, taking into account the request’s purpose and scope. Where permitted, access may be provided through controlled disclosure, appropriate confidentiality arrangements or review by a suitably qualified independent third party.

Where further information is needed to verify product performance claims, we will work with the requester to identify an appropriate means of providing it while protecting proprietary information to the extent permitted.
