Quality and Assurance
At Gerda quality assurance is taken extremely seriously. We are ISO9001 certified, and conduct extensive trials at UKAS accredited test houses to ensure that our doorsets and other products perform in real life situations. All systems carry third party certification – which means we are audited by independent UKAS notification bodies.
You can find out more about some of the certifications our products have earned for their performance in fire safety testing, and testing against other standards – such as smoke protection, acoustics, thermal transfer and more – as well as more about the organisations awarding those certifications, below.
Gerda quality assurance testing & awarding bodies include:
The United Kingdom Accreditation Service is operated by the UK government. They are the organisation that effectively ‘tests other people carrying out Gerda quality assurance testing, and the quality of that testing’.

ConstructionLine assess product or service providers against the latest safety standards and criteria, and validating that compliance so that clients can more easily identify reliable providers and products.

Accreditation by CHAS demonstrates that a supplier knows how to establish a compliant supply chain and practise effective supply chain management.
