The Gerda FDS Complete™ Range has been accredited by the police preferred standard for security, Secured by Design. By meeting these requirements, Gerda doorsets work to out-design crime, reducing and deterring criminal activity.
Why Complete Doorsets?
Some other companies test their doors and door frames separately, which increases the risk of the final installation failing to meet required standards. At Gerda we test, manufacture and install our doorsets as a combined unit. This ensures that the installed doorset matches the specifications they have been tested to.
Fully Certified
The Gerda FDS Complete™ Range is designed to provide the highest standard of fire safety. These doorsets are certified under the Q Mark scheme for Fire Door Installation to ensure the best protection. The high-performance range has been thoroughly tested for fire resistance and smoke control at major UKAS accredited test houses. Single and double doorsets, along with all screens, panels, hardware, and signage, met fire test standards such as BS476 part 22 1987 and EN 1634-1:2008.
